Kit Lawrence is an award-recognised brand and marketing strategist with two decades of experience in brand development, creative services, strategic communications, and cross-sector marketing.
With expertise spanning diverse sectors—from tech startups to engineering firms—Kit transforms business challenges into compelling narratives that resonate with varied audiences. His strategic approach combines analytical thinking with creative storytelling to deliver measurable results.
Kit has established strong connections throughout the business, creative, and public sectors. He has partnered with both national brands and regional businesses to help them articulate their unique stories, identify growth opportunities, and connect with broader markets. He began his professional career as a community consultant for a renowned London architecture firm involved in large-scale urban regeneration schemes. After working in the public sector, he relocated to Aotearoa and focused on freelance creative services.
During the pandemic, Kit served as both a Manatū Taonga mentor and Regional Business Advisor, guiding organisations through disruption while building resilience through marketing strategies aligned with their broader organisational objectives. This experience reinforced his belief that effective marketing must work in harmony with an organisation's purpose, its capability, and the common desire to seek meaningful growth.
